Default AEM Tru Boost problems

Whenever I'm in 2nd gear and up and push the throttle all the way
about half way through the rpm's the turbo starts to sputter real bad
I asked a few people and they all said PTB
But if I have a boost controler shouldn't it limit that
So when I turn the gauge to off and it pushes little boost it doesn't do it
it's almost like the bov is letting the pressure go to high
could this be a bad spring in it

any help would be great as for how to fix it
anyone have setups that work for them or would recomend

It's also throwing three codes
p0517- battery temp sensor high
p0633- skim key not programmed in pcm
p0038- o2 sensor 1/2 heater circuit high

if anyone knows how to fix these it would be great
thanks

AEM EBC suck. I am never putting another on mine or a friends car, they cause too many problems.

Just get a MBC and be done with it.

sounds like you have some other problems to sort out before blaming your problems on the ebc. adding any sort of boost controller will not cause any of your three codes to show up. i have an aem tru boost and i couldnt be happier, i spike 24 and hold 20-21.

Just wait, AEM EBC usually starts fucking up after a while and will make you overboost like crazy.

I'm not saying that's causing the codes. I was just looking to see if anyone knew how to fix them. I did some research on them and found the battery temp and key slim but the o2 sensor I can't figure out.

I had one and it worked good, it may be in your settings make sure the crack pressure is set correctly start at the lowest and work your way up. alot of the problems are from bad settings

IS there any settings you would recomend
I have A set on 20 and B set on 55
The full boost is set at 27
I'm not to sure where to start all the other settings like the spring pressure or scramble boost

p0517- battery temp sensor high
Caused by using an 03/04 PCM on an 05 that does not have the Battery Temp Sensor
or yours is just not plugged in. With the sensor unplugged the pcm assumes the worst and says it is getting 5v.

p0633- skim key not programmed in pcm
Staged PCM's usually have this code depending on where it was programmed. This code should not throw a CEL.

p0038- o2 sensor 1/2 heater circuit high
Your 02 sensor is going bad, or more likely you assumed that since you have a staged pcm that it does not check the downstream 02 and you removed it, when in fact it still expects it to be there and will throw a cel for it.

Damn
so your the first person that's actually broke it down as to what each code means
thanks
that helps out a lot
So obviously I shouldn't be too worried about the top two codes
is there any way I can check the o2 sensor
I currently have a bosch o2 sensor in it
Or would you recommend any other brand of better sensors for when I put one in it
