i had a few questions about the AEM boost controller. can it fit into the stock guage piller? and does it tell you how much you are boosting?

Yes it fits in the stock pod and it tells you how much boost also. It's an outstanding controller very easy to use

yes there easy to use and fit right in the stock pod but they spool slow and have a huge problem being able to hold boost or not surge

Not to sure what vprvnom is talking about when it comes to slow spool etc.. My stock turbo used to spool insanely fast. If you have any questions about that boost controller Pm me for info. I recommend using the stock WGA with this product I used to spike 18psi and held 15 psi all the way to red line

its hard for a stock turbo not to spool instantly......on a big turbo its another story.....i lost 400 rpms of spool with that bc compared to a simple bleed valve boost controller

He has a stock turbo. Never used one a big turbo. I have stage 3 so I use DAB. How does the Boost controller know what size turbo your using?

yeah i am on a stock turbo. i just bought an Agp Wga and the Ptp upgraded spring to go with it. havnt installed it tho. i am looking for a good boost controller tho that would give me a bang for my buck. i was looking @ getting that greddy e01 boost controller but this aem one looks really good also. i dont plan on boosting more then 17 @ the most 18 psi.
i really dont know much about boost controllers so i have having a hard time picking one out. ive been asking around but people are not give me that good of advice.

With an aftermarket WGA there is no need for boost controller. Just set your WGA to your preffered boost settings...

Adjustable WGA is used to raise or lower boost.

An boost controller is used to raise or lower boost

for a ebc there should be a "gain" function that is adjustable......because every turbo has a diffrent threshold.....the aem unit does not have that adjustable "gain" function so it does not work well on big turbo's........it worked ok on my gt3071r constant boost but it didnt make full boost till after 4 grand and on a dbb turbo that is sad.....then i put a 60-1 on it and it would either spike real high on the boost then fall off.....or it would constantly surge.....there was no other way for it.......

that is weird i just also bought a apg waste gate too and was looking for a aem boost controller. My question is if u set the wastegate at 18psi and u get a boost controller, can u set the boost at lower psi when u dont need it and then say u want it hit it to 18psi, or is the waste gate going to delete the controller and just use 18psi at all times?

would u recommend Wideband UEGO Display Gauge

I have the Aem. It does boost faster but the thing I dont like is its a pain in the butt to dial in and if you got a boost leak like I do right now its horrbile.. So make sure your leak free and find a nice stretch of road and an hour+ of your time. Plus the little buttons you push to make changes hurt your fingers after a while.. Other than that good product easy to setup. Just make sure you install this in the engine compartment it can be noisy. If you mount it in cabin like i have heard people do.. Dont ask me why lol..

anyone have any tuning suggestions for a stock turbo and stock spring with the aem boost controller. Right now I have my highest setting at 72% duty cycle with the spring set to 4.50 and it spikes to 16 max. It's hard to get a good look at it around red line cuz I'm usually busy keeping the car on the road and whatnot, but I'm pretty certain it holds like 12 around redline. Also I'm aware that I can set it higher, but I wanted to get some other more experienced peoples opinions on this before I set it any higher.
