can someone show me how this installs on our cars....I have a shift ball that has a threaded piece that sits on top of the shifter stick and has like 5 screws that screw in and lock against the stick so that the threaded piece cannot move up or down the stick....then you screw the ball on to the threaded piece you just put on the end of the shifter stick....is this how this shifter ball works??

You have the MPx shift knob mounted in your car. Your shift knob features a threaded collar that attaches to your shift lever allowing the MPx shift knob to be threaded onto your shifter. The BT shift knob does not require the threaded collar. It's simply locks in place using a hidden set screw that mounts over the existing shift lever without any modification.

The MPx knob is a solid product but limited to only one color/style. I purchased the same flat black shift knob that you're interested and I'm very glad I did. I added a dab of loctite onto the set screw before I mounted it onto my Mopar STS. I'm still banging gears without any issue.

Hell yea! I'm extremely happy with this shift ball. Fit and finish was excellent.
My stocker was shot and decrepit looking. I was in need of something more solid and better looking.

I was one of the lucky ones I suppose. My stock knob never came off until I ganked it right before I put the BT knob on.
