we are still trying to decide on material , but most likely the finished product will be made out of 4130 chromolly and come powdered . the chassis brace however will probably remain steel .

There a pictures of it above, along with a video of them in action on the first page. Similar to Bwoody's in concept, but different design.

subscribed, payment pending per paycheck on the 15th. bad ass setup... doesn't rub on aftermarket exhaust though does it?
I had to tighten up my needswings 3" downpipe/catback cause it was hanging but now i have close to 2 inches of clearance between them. If you have a custom exhaust that hangs low, you may need to get a hanger welded on to hold it up higher. Any decent exhaust should clear the brace.

yup, looks like i'll need a hanger welded on... or would it be that bad to have it rest on the brace?

If it hangs, it wouldn't be resting on the brace, more than likely it would be bouncing on the brace making noise. However, for people with this problem, an easy fix would be to take the car to an exhaust shop, and get a hanger installed to hold it up, or a bracket that is welded onto the downpipe, and bolted to the chassis brace to enable it to be removed from one another, yet eliminate the rattleing it may cause. Like i said before, this will clear with stock or aftermarket exhaust built for the car, just make sure you snug everything up if it's sagging. A custom exhaust may have issues with hanging and that would need to be addressed.

I know nothing about suspension. What is the black bar called & what does it do?
the black bar in the pics is our chassis brace . it basicly ties the chassis together at one of its strogest points this not only strengthens the vehicles chassis but also improves handling quite a bit by limiting the amount of twisting that the chassis does .
