Nobody could figure it out but Darrell, due to his extensive knowledge on the 2.4L. In fact, he knew the problem before it was a problem.

As for FTP selling this product for an extra few pennies is just retarded. Does it make him a bad guy, or even a bad business man? Probably not, so bashing the guy will get you no where in my book. However it is pretty fucked up morally.

I thought this product had been used in racing for years already on other makes? Isnt that why dcr can say they have years of development and testing behind a product they released just a few weeks prior on a car that only had a 36 month run?

Exactly. The oil modifier is nothing new and DCR did not invent it. So just because DCR got theirs to the market means nobody else can make it then??? Thats just fucked up. And as for copying DCR??? There are only so many ways this item could be made.

I strongly urge you to drop this and pull this from your store otherwise the loss will be much greater for you.

Darrell is a smart man? Have you ever read any of his posts? "Smart" isn't quite the word I would use. Also, patent-pending doesn't really mean all that much without the proof of it. Until the patent is granted, it really is just a certificate you get in the mail (that is, of course, providing that Darrell even went through the trouble in the first place).

You urge him to drop the product or the loss will be much greater for him? Umm, how so? The best Darrell could do would be to sue for lost profit and accumulated financial damages...it's not going to end anyone's day.

My idea is, power to FTP...they are providing a product with the same quality at half the price. I, being an American and living in this, yes, capitalistic society of ours, enjoy the battle of prices among vendors. This is what keeps prices in check. Maybe Darrell will think twice before charging 50 bucks plus shipping for a piece of metal with a hole in it.

Good luck, FTP.

Yall Folks need to quit hating on Tony!

DCR is just pissed because biz with "They're" Oil restrictor has gone done the drain due to "COMPETITION". Yall Folks need to live with it! In fact it should motivate u more to make better pruducts or do a better job of marketing it!

You cry babys need to realize u live in the U S of A. When someone sees something that can bring income, and its not Patent, that person will semi-copy it and make it better for a similar or lesser value! Look at McD's Cheeseburger and BurgerKings Cheeseburger, look the effing same but sure taste different.

Unless you guys bring a document stating "Your" Oil restrictor is Copyrighted, STFU Till then Toodles lil

I've got the solution Tony, your missing the patent seal. Hope this helps.
