Why Do Orders Take Long Before They Ship?

I get this question at least 2-3 times a month. Its listed in the FAQ but I guess I have to make my own post just for this issue.

3. Why does it take 2-3 weeks?
Some items we dont keep in stock and we will order them from our vendor. Than make/modify the item when we get it. So generally it will take us a week or 2 to get your item. Then it will take a few days to make/modify the item, and another 2-3 days for it to get to you. Sometimes it takes shorter time. We haven't forgotten your order, do not worry.

Sometimes if I have the items instock i usually can send them out the following weekend.
