thats what you get from usps's crappy tracking service, you should get it anytime, sorry about usps's worthless tracking system but it's the only affordable method available since ups cost almost double sometimes even triple the amount....give it another day or so then we will start to worry....-Eric
Didn't arrive today either. Bummer.
Maybe it's taking so long since you send them Parcel Post (2-9 days) instead of First Class/Priority. Maybe you can consider another shipping option for your customers that may want to get their goodies sooner.

i wouldn't mind sending with a faster option but no one wants to pay the difference, i make less then $8 per shift ball and if i was to upgrade shipping for free i would make nothing, if someone tells me "hey i need this fast" i propose to them to upgrade at there cost to a faster shipping and they usually change there mind or argue why can't i pay the difference.....
The price of stainless is high right now and so is shipping im suprized your making anything. I looked up a stainless ball close to stock size and then figuered time i would have in it it was cheaper to let Pizza boy do his thing.
My ball shipped the 8th lets see how long it takes from Cali to South Carolina not that im in a hurry lol.

Exactly, if people knew that the ball itself with machining and the core cost of 304l stainless steel is worth about $30-40 by itself not including the powdercoating and shipping and the mount and set screw plus packing and all the labor involved plus answering the many PM's just to sell 1-2 balls, also there is the vendor fees and paypal takes there cut as well not to mention tooling and expendables, hell in the end im almost paying to sell shift balls...
...if you cannot cover your expenses, make a decent profit, and afford the few extra cents to upgrade shipping from Parcel Post to First Class then maybe it's time you set a price that is fair to you, and your customers.
From the reviews I've read and checking pricing on a similar ball, you have plenty of room to go up.
BTW, still no show on the ball, and no change in the status of the tracking#.
Just to compare USPS classes, I purchased Yankees/Red Sox tickets on 5-6 that were sent First Class w/ delivery Confirmation, and the tracking info was updated as soon as the package was picked up. I actually received them today, 3 days later.

did you see the thread where i raised the cost to $50? And the other 2 guys whos balls shipped at same time as yours just received theirs today so you should be set to get it tommarow or monday for sure, and i will possibly start shippng only priority mail but i think part of the problem is the small town post office that picks up the packages, everything that goes thru them take longer.......
Want the shinyist black one you make. I will need it shipped Priority to my APO, parcel post takes 4-6 weeks. PM me how much. Hell i might get 2 if price is right

No, I didn't see that thread. I'll let you know if the ball is not in Monday's mail.

Just got it. It's a very nice product. The glossy black ball made a huge improvement to the look of my interior.
BTW, will it matter that the ball is threaded but my shifter top is not? I tightened the set screw and it seems to be holding it in place but I've yet to run through the gears.

Thanks!
The threads you speak of are there for a reason, they are like grip rings that provide added grip to the shift rod making it virtually impossible to pull the ball off when the set screw is tightened, i actually refer to them as grip rings since they are not a real thread at all, at least it won't thread on to anything i know of..lol...anyways im glad to have another happy customer
