JUST got the bulb today,WOOT! well almost! i had to modify the bulb base. my car has a production date of 8/03 as an 04. the base in my switch was about 3/4 of an inch long. not like the HVAC or even the one in the inst photo. i took a small grinder and the a nail file to finish. i removed most of the socket down to the push lock. from there, i followed the rest of the assy. YOU MUST BE CAREFUL BENDING THE BULB FORWARD AS PER INSTRUCTION. it goes prolly only 2/3 forward, but the effect is still excellent. i know your car is an 05, so DODGE has changed things. just to let the guys KNOW, WHAT YOU GET STILL WORKS. mod time about 25 min, but be GENTLE or it will BUST. PROPS for a great product BSBOB

yea someone w/ a regular neon brought this to my attention. I met up with him at a local casino garage w/ his dash apart... I saw the base was loong. So I just told him to cut it. That it pretty much the only thing you have to do.
