Default TIP Sensor, how do you remove it, and do you plug it into the Throttle body vac/boost

TIP Sensor, how do you remove it, and do you plug it into the Throttle body vac/boost?

Stock one plugged in (wires), but not hooked to anything besides that.

Installed SCT tonight, having issues... How do I put my 3 bar in there, and do I run the nipple to the vac/boost line on the Throttle Body?

Thanks for the help

the 3bar TIP?

the tip is on the driver side fender where the stock intake plumbs into.

just unbolt the stocker, and put the 3bar in.

run your red/white lines like you would stock.

whod u get the sct from?

My TIP doesn't have bolts from what it looks like. They're flat looking rivets holding it in?

I know where it's at...

I don't think my solenoid block is hooked up right now Can't seem to find it... I wonder if you can buy this block somewhere?

Well, if you have a 3bar you cannot just flash any tune into the PCM, the 3bar should be installed like stock. The flash should be a Stage II or III flash or the PCM will not understand the scalers. Use a stage II flash. and the car should make about 16psi. Get that working and I can send you a more agressive flash.

got it removed, thanks. Plastic rivets, use a large flat head screwdriver to pop them out.

red line, white line, mine are all gone. the line from the tip sensor goes to the top (closest to plug) vac nipple on the red solenoid (#1). then the middle line on solenoid pack 1 goes to where? i have it tee'd into the throttle body, where's it supposed to go?

lol..

the connector color match the hose color

so red goes to top...and to cold pipe
white goes into center port ....to tip
bottom is left empty

If you're going AGP SCT, and have your own boost controller, you DO NOT NEED your 'noids hooked up at all. You need the TIP hooked to the plug, but not connected to the vacuum line, etc.

Well, that spells disaster right there. At a minimum, you really need your TIP sensor hooked up, per the original setup. The TIP does a bit more in the software than most people realize. After a solid week of testing all kinds of setups on SRTs, we found that it needed to be hooked up.

yep the tip does a couple of thing, but i'm not sure it's really desaster
since lots of stage are running without it

but better play on the safe side, any way if you just buy the resistor mod...if you hook it to the cool pipe most of the value will be off
