Default SCT vs Dtec?

I currently have a Dtec on the car should i keep it and get a AGP SCT flash or ditch the Dtec and just get the SCT? I dont plan on running race gas or setting the AFR past 11.7

the sct will always be better than the dtec or other piggy backs but its a question of cost i have a dtec i will be removing it for my sct tune the sct is way better for big turbo but my dtec was great when i was SST because it worked well at leaning it out and gave me a massive amount of timing and it was cheap

SCT owns a DTEC. I was running low twelves with a PERFECT DTEC and I mean PERFECT tune. Nothing changed othen then a SCT tune from Jannetty Racing and I was able to run 11's @120 when before I was 116. The streetability is like a stocker with 150 more HP I kid you not.

I have the dtec right now and im about to ditch it for an sct. I have big turbo with 750's and the drivibilty is shitty with all the stumbles and hiccups. If you go with the pretuned sct like agp sells some say to keep the piggyback in order to fine tune.

i swapped my DTEC ($300+ and install) for the SCT ($600 plus sensors $180), and the car felt great on 18 psi with my turbo. It does have hidden costs such as the MAP & TIP sensors, but install is a breeze, I didn't have to tune other than deciding what base fuel pressure I was going to use. I look forward to not dealing with day to day tuning. Aside from this, you can get software to allow your own limitless tuning and to swap tunes all you do is attach the flasher to the OBD port.

SCT gives you a safer ride as you have timing tuned and not the piggyback side effect of increasing timing when pulling fuel. I wish this would have come out sooner. For those like me who are not building a race car, don't want to tune, but want to maximize their upgraded turbos- it is a great maintenance free alternative from the AEM for less than half the price.

That right there is the reason SCT rules.

That and a little birdie told me the DTEC isn't going to be around much longer.

A properly tuned SCT will outperform an AEM. Especially if you are in an area where temperature and other environmental variables are present.

well there you have it...all you guys in here should call SCT about some form of commission..... now if u guys can explain all the features and hidden costs that would be great.... here is the low down on what i got and am getting in the next few months (seeing as i got a 2nd job to only cover upgrades)
now and this season this was done on a small budget
stage 0 (got rid of stage 1 cause i was leaning toward sct anyway)
agp FMIC
kinetik wastegate
fullblown fuelrail
255 f pump
stock turbo..(for this season)
stock injectors (unless i need to go higher)
AEM wideband
3" corsa exhaust (catless)
kn cia

o...and direct port nitrous injection...100-150 shot dont know yet

next few months
new motor..well new to me...i cant let my car be out of commission
i figured out the 2.6 conversion so ima try it for 1/3 the price
huge turbo
and the rest of the toys...
