am i wrong or is there more then one sct software out there i so the pro race and some Advantage III DCX is it all the same thing or is it different?

Advantage III is for all models SCT supports. The physical equipment is different between makes/models.

so does it come with the sct flash or do you have to buy it? witch way is the way to go whats the dif between them guess to me the website dont really say

If you buy just the handheld you will need a dealer to make you tunes to load into it to flash your pcm with. The alternative is the Pro Racer Package (PRP) which gives you the software (Advantage III), and the handheld to do the flashing with.

thanks thats what i needed to know now is the handheld locked to my car or can you tune more then one car with it?

A dealer flased unit , such as yours , will only flash the ECU it is married to .
If you want to unlock it from an ECU to use on another , you must contact SCT .

The handheld is limited to 3 changes. So you can use it on 3 different cars then you must send it to sct to have them unlock it.

is there a limit on how many times you can flash one car?

Nope, you can flash your car as much as you want.

The 3 changes that were mentioned... you have to return the vehicle to stock before you can use it on another vehicle... so you can't have more than 1 car tuned at a time with 1 XCal2. Once you use those 3 changes up, you will have to pay SCT for more.

Exactly, I ran into this problem and it cost me about $70 to get it unlocked.
