Carefull !!! SCT had some screwed up updates last week ! Dont know if they fixed them yet .

Do you have Just the handheld ( Xcal-II ) unit ? Or the Pro Racer Package ?

If you have the Advantage software disc & Dongle & you will need to call SCT next week go get it activated .

If you got a dealer flashed handheld From a dealer , you just hook up to OBD port & follow instructions . Pick one of your three pre-programmed flashes to replace stock flash with .DO NOT ABORT FLASH once you have started an actual re-flash . to do so will lock up your ECU .

If you bought it used & it is "married" to another SRT4 ECU , you will also have to get in touch with SCT to get it unlocked or "divorced" from previous ECU so you can lock it to yours .

Welcome to the world of ECU reflashing , SCT style .
There is a lot of info in this section & the wiki if you are a PRP user , but there are some holes in it , so if you cant find what your looking for ask . Im in my first year with the PRP & there is a big learning curve , so I know how intimidating this stuff can look .

If you are going to stick with a dealer flash setup , choose your dealer wisely . The flashes are only as good as the programmer . Some have a much better understanding of this system than others . But all the shops will tell you they are the best .

I bought a used handheld that was returned to stock. He didn't give me any discs with it but he bought it from pwerks. I am still waiting to hear back from Nemiro about an email tune (since I'm in NY) since I am big turbo and the only tune that came with the SCT was a 93 tune that is really meant for stock turbos.

Great !
You couldnt have picked a better dealer .
The 93 tune is pretty jacked on a stock setup (my opinion) , I cant imagine how it would run on a big turbo setup .

Unless you have the proracer package, you can't do any tuning yourself. With live load you can put tunes that are sent to you unto your SCT, then flash them to your car.... but you can't tune it yourself at all.
