but why buy the stage III turbo setup? It's really not that good of a turbo. The whole point of using it is the fact that it's all Plug and Play together.
i am looking to buy s3 turbo and manifold
my mods are in the signature
could this actually work?
what else would i need
what power should i expect out of this?
thank you for the input
You should get a return line setup, sell your agp WGA get a Stage 3 AGP wga, sell the Neo,get a good SCT tune. I'm currently putting down 365 whp. stock wheel stage 3/stock pcm. Full bolt ons on pump gas and meth injection. The stage 3 is a killer street turbo ohh and it does its job at the track too.

Well, maybe I should not have said it's not a good turbo. Depends on what you're trying to do I suppose. However I tend to prefer externally wastegated turbochargers especially when looking at 1/4 geared setups. The 3071 is a good street turbo. The 3076 is a little lazy on the spool to really be a good street turbo but i may change my mind about that when I get it dialed in a little better. Hauls ass after 3k rpms though!
S2 injectors = S3 injectors = 682cc injectors (at 58psi). Should be plenty with some kind of FPR, upgraded fuel pump and fuel management.
But, every car is different...
Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. I have found that stage II injectors have been more than enough even with a 3076R. When I first started this project I did the math on the 682cc injectors and found them to be more than enough to support 450hp with a static fuel pressure of 58psi. In the real world I have found this to be true. I was never able to figure out why guys were running these massive injectors and then having to turn the static fuel pressure down to get the car to run.

I ran out of fuel on my setup... With the 675's I have plenty of fuel now. But I would spike super lean at 24psi + above 5K rpms. It was nuts. Now I am pulling crazy fuel. But the car still drives great and no issues.
