PRP and XCAL2 - SRT Forums

For all of you whom have the PRP package. Is your Xcal2 locked down to 3 changes? Mine is and I only have 1 left. When I bought my PRP Package SCT forgot to send me the Xcal2 and they had it sent after I recieved the software and dongle. I am hoping they just sent me the wrong one or I am going to have to pay to have it unlocked soon....Anyone know what they charge for that?

it get locked after programming 3 different vehicule

you can program one of this vehicule as many time as you want

yeah why would you be using your changes??? dont return to stock load in a stock map to your xcal every time you "return to stock" it uses a change. FYI i did that and had to send mine in. now its locked to my car which is fine and its $65 for them to add more changes

Well I did not really know at first what the changes left meant. I have used two of my changes just trying to get a flash to actually work. I have three pcms and the xcal2 has yet to flash any of them successfully. Currently my Xcal2 just says "Corrupt Tune File" after it checks the stock file and locks itself to the pcm. I have to restore the stock image after this happens to unlock the xcal2. I think SCT should give me more changes because of this for free but I doubt they will...Sucks having the PRP for almost a year and yet to actually be able to use it.....

hmm....? have you ever called them? i had some issues at first with mine and they took care of it for me no problems when i called the few times. they also have online tech support sometimes might wanna try that.

as for the free changes good luck. i had some pretty big issues with mine and i couldnt even get a free change out of it.

Yeah I am waiting on them to send me a restore file for my current situation now. I tried flashing my 03 Stage 1, 04510055AC, because I was told it worked with the 03 Stage 1, but it said ECM Erase Failed and again locked it self to the PCM. Only this time I cannot restore stock because when I try it gives me the same error ECM Erase Failed. So right now my Xcal2 is locked and basically worthless. Atleast the damn car still runs... It is also a real pain in my ass to call them because I live in Hawaii and I have to call them between 3am and 11am my time due to the time difference. Thats not SCT's fault but I don't have a job that allows me to be on the phone for hours with SCT Tech Support all day.
