Default progress

what happened to it, for awhile there we were getting fairly regular updates and the whole reflash thing was working better and better. what's the status on the pcm controlled boost, what about boost by gear, rpm mods, meth control? any progress? come on, i'm bored.

I have some work to do. I am out of injector, so I am waiting on some cash to get here so I can take care of it. Not only that, but getting the time to tune is hard. I am almost out of meth, I have to pick more up. Hopefully I will have some time and good weather on monday.

Hey wannasupra I see you over in the nitrous section a bit and since I saw you here thought I would ask. Do you have and use the SCT? If so do you have two maps set up, one for nitrous, and the other for all turbo? If so how is that working for you?

no, no spray just yet. i was over there quite a bit recently, i was in a class about N20 at school, and was considering a 35 shot for spool. i also don't have an sct, but am definetly considering one. once all the features i'm looking for (higher redline, recalibrated injector size, 3 bar map, gear based boost, and perhaps W/I) are functional and tested, i'll most likely be ordering an xcal. technically, the race gas map you're talking about could be activated via the HOM switch. it just depends on how that calibration is enacted in a stock pcm. if it's a whole different set of values, then you could have two separate tunes that could be accessed via a simple switch. if it's activated my modifying the values ie fuel, boost, timing: by a percentage of the base map, then as long as the percentages are tested, then it would still probably work. depends on how much time ojcool and mana4real want to put into it. if i can get a deal on a pro racer package, i'll probably go that direction, but i'd need a new laptop as well.

hey hey you stool my setup.. almost all my stuff is here just need warmer temp to install it

liek you said 25 or 35 for spool, and w/i,,,for now i'm at 6500 rpm, 750cc and 3 bar sensor

will use the coolingmist device to control w/i and nos

i will put boost back to pcm so it will lower with knock

my idea with the coolling mist...is to connect a flow sensor (dds3) for the w/i from aquamist (ordered this morning),afr, map, tps, rpm and speed

so knowing rpm and speed you can control by rpm and gear
and if afr is no good at wot i will by pass the boost sensor

Again, what exactly do you want me to do? You are talking about nitrous, but you didn't say what you are looking for us to do.

no, hayabusa mentioned nitrous. i mentioned some way to use the ic sprayer algorithm to control w/i.

the nitrous would have to have a standalone controller, or maybe just a two position switch, one which would ground out the solenoid, and let it spray, and the other would go to a n/c hobbs switch set at 15 psi. so position one, spray to spool, position two, spray to whoopass.
