Another thing I've been thinking about doing is installing the free VMware on my Windows box. If you have a decent amount of hard drive space you could install and load Windows and Advantage and save a copy of the virtual machine disk image when it's working and then again before performing an update. That way if they push out something that corrupts or breaks it you could just boot up the previous virtual machine. Not that we should have to be doing this but it might be a workaround. If someone gets on the phone with them you might ask to see if they've had any issues trying to run it under a VM.

In order to get advantage to open properly I have to go in the SCT/Advantage folder and open it from there otherwise I get an error. The shortcut that it creates automatically in the start menu and on the desktop both ask for the cd to re-install and fix problems. I tried to fix this thing every which was last night and it still fucked up. What I did was created my own shortcuts from the folders directly in the advantage folder and I keep deleting the ones it makes on my desktop because they just don't work. Their "software engineers" need to stop drinking on the job.

Oh, well I have had that happen a bunch of times. I don't even try to run their shortcuts anymore.
