Default less power with sct?

im having a problem with my sct pro race package...ok heres whats going on, ive been following the stock turbo 300whp thread and finally pretty much have my car with all basic bolt ons, i have a returnline kit and 255 pump that i havent installed yet...after i had all my bolt ons put on i dynoed my car at 251 whp and 289 tq...then i was so excited to see what sct could do for me...my local shop wasnt too familiar with sct so he called them and got support from them on the phone for countless hours...after all was said and done my results were......no more check engine light, no more ptb and stuttering but boost spikes 17 and holds only about 13 and before it used to spike and hold 17 psi, and it dynoed at 255whp 292tq...did i spend all that money on my sct only to gain better drivability and like 4 hp and 3 tq?

now ive been reading that ill need a 3 bar map and tip sensor and stuff but will this help my stock setup? ive also read that sct actually makes less power on the stock turbo setup to be safe and such.is sct only good for big turbo setups? if i install my returnline will it help a whole lot more? would i have been better off keeping my safc II then? i plan on going 50trim or a bit bigger but id like to play with my stock turbo for a bit longer while i save some more coin...can someone please help and chime in on this? im getting a little frustrated and it doesnt help that i dont have any tuning experience at all..thanks alot..

leave it to a tuner that KNOWS our cars.

dont let yourself or someone w/ no knowledge of our cars tune it.

stock compression, stock turbo, and a safe tune calls out for big timing, and that is what your car is missing right now.

On a safe tune look what I made... It's in my signature... That's with me street tuning the car. Find another tuner or open a book and do it yourself. That's the real truth. I am more willing to experiment with something then a someone else tuning. Most tuners are acutally pulling timing instead of leaving the damn timing table alone and pulling fuel out. Or this is what I hear anyways. I am actually adding timing. But I also have meth injection...

my mods are...dcr 55mm tb,top end oil modifier, balance shafts removed, ported intake manifold, agp new style waste gate, evil creations bfmic, needswings v5 downpipe with cutout, cooling mist trunk mount w/i, returnline kit (not installed yet) walbro 255 lph fuel pump (not installed yet)...then i bought sct pro race package and now i cant find someone that can tune it in Canada...after i got it somewhat tuned by a shop here i only get 255whp? thats horrible...if i could tune it i would try but im totally car illiterate and dont know shit about tuning, would i just be better off getting rid of it?
