i guess my point was there is very few people that are helping the sct cause and sct does not help any
Dave does a great job of helping people out. The problem is that he is just one guy and he is super busy. No one else knows the DCX stuff like he does.
there are enough people who've sort of dedicated themselves to working the bugs out of that sct.

yeah but when a company makes a system then just brings it out with no where's near all the bugs worked out.....and then the users are left with doing it themselves.....it just does not seem too great

On the one hand I do agree with you, but then again, have you ever had the frustration of paying full retail for an Adobe product (any one, just pick any one of them)? Those programs are released to tons more people than SCT, and are full of data corrupting, frustrating bugs. You know who has to live with that? Only the people who paid for the software. Same thing with the SCT. The bugs are not delivered to the consumer, unless the tuner sends an error to the consumer. Other than that, it is the SCT dealers who have to deal with it, and SCT HAS been very responsive to our needs. Beyond that, why do you care what we (the dealers) have to deal with? I for one, am very pleased with the SCT package, despite the growing pains.

oh and i can agree with that....but a bug on an adobe and your out of max 300 bucks for a hard drive......a bug in a sct.....could possibly be 4 grand for a new motor.......and i feel the sct after a while will be a great tuning tool.....but it will be way to late......these cars are being totalled by the day and eventually there will be no market for the car
not any GOOD sct tuners for the srt tho apparently..
aside from one. IMO
yeah there are 3 sct tuners less than 20 miles from me and all of them said they will not be working with the srt....there was a 4th but i will never take a car to ar fabrication again
that's the issue I've found... all the local shops don't want to man up with the cash for the DCX licensing... Nemiro is the closest one that I know of that will do it for us in Colorado.
