Default Data Acquisition

Opinions wanted on what to buy for data logging & wideband. What do you guys think is best?
Innovative OT-1 and LC-1?
Aeroforce?
Hexalogger?
Something else?

I like the idea of being able to graph logs to aid with tuning PRP so that pretty much eliminates the last 2 options. Anyway, ideas and opinions?

Thanks!

I am crossing fingers they will have datalogging capabilities soon.

If you need a wideband and would like to also datalog some info then I would take a serious look at the Zeitronix
Zeitronix

I also think the Aeroforce is a good buy and wideband and Aeroforce gauge would be smart if playing with tuning and such.......but both at the same time can be some $$

I have 2 used Zeitronix setups F/S if interested. Both are setup to use palm5 for display and logging. I could sell the base one for $200 shipped, the other one with all options $300 shipped.

Don't want to invest in a palm pilot. Seems similar to the innovate products though.

Most people over look the dynojet wideband commander. Yes, it is more expensive, but the software is very easy to use and the inputs and outputs are easily configurable.

I changed my original post since I wasn't clear that I wanted to log OBD data and wideband. The Zeitronix seems interesting; what pids does it have available? Anyone have any input on the innovative? I know the innovative doesn't have a knock pid, but that seems like a non-issue since it will capture total timing.

Thanks

I have been leaning towards the Innovative route. I was thinking about adding an SSI-4 and running the knock sensor to it? If that works then it should be easy to compare knock voltage to total timing in Logworks to figure out what the PCM is thinking.

the probleme is that knock voltage does not really equal knock

the knock voltage is filterd by the ecu

i havent experienced for my self...but i have heard..mostly read that even with just the timing signal is obvious when you have knock
