driving home, minding my own business and all of a sudden 2 popo's are pulling me over... I didnt do anything wrong so I instantly knew they were taking me down for the tinted lights!
One of the 2 was pretty car savvy and noticed I had no Catalytic Converter...
apparently it's not a "fix it" ticket like everyone says it is, it's a class 1 misdemenor or some crap. which translates to ... "I have to pay a fine"
so I was written up for the cat and they tacked on a "fix it" ticket of tail lights not visible from 500 feet. Which is Bullshiiit. I've stood a 1000ft from my lights and yes they are dim, but visible.
Oh, and to add to the fun. It was my birthday today - happy f--king birthday Jeff, here's a 300 fine for driving without a catalytic converter and at least another 60$ to buy some new tails!
I will very likely just pay the fine for the Cat, fix the lights and call it a day. too much of a hassle to put the stock down pipe back in... not to likely I will be pulled over for no Cat, the real culprit here is those damned tinted lights.
SRTs are better than everything ever. period. Car, plane, rocketship, anything. There has never been anything in existance as fast as an SRT-4. Scientists have been considering changing lightspeed to SRT-4 speed, but havent been able to because light cant keep up.
i honestly expected the fine to be more than $300 for no cat.
did they look under your car with a mirror or what? cause its pretty hard to see if you have a dp or a cat on our cars.
is this in cali?
im just counting down the days till this happens to me.

What reason did he have for pulling you over? the tails and did he say that?
What suspicion did he have for you not running a cat?
Were you there for more than 15 mins
how the fuck did he know there was no cat, i can barely get under my car to see it, if you told him thats your fault
I must also ask..... HOW THE HECK DID HE FIND OUT ABOUT THE CAT.... Especially on a lowered car like yours.....did it slip from your mouth or did he pull a fast one on you like.... "so do you have a cat on this exhaust" and you replied... "NO"..... just like the STOCK rims incident?

lame dude. the one time i got pulled over it was when i had a CF hood, vortex gen, and the TBE jdm angle exhaust. so it basically screamed "give me a ticket" and he gave me a fix it ticket for overdue registration lol.
but its only a matter of time before they bend me over the barrel

ya i built the exhaust i have on mine so its not really legal anywhere but WA and then i had the intake and all that shit on there.. he came up to my windown and was "sir do i even want to look under the hood of this car" all i could say back was "no probly not cuz you would want to arrest me" haha.. then he had to let me go cuz of the WA plates.. thank god

ahaha nice.
ya i ditched that exhaust and have a turbo back SEE now.
i want to get out of CA though, its to expensive and i hate feeling like a criminal everytime im in my car and i see a cop.
i just registered to washington again.. im in mass. mind you and it was 47 dollars to do it.. and my next exhaust is a 3 in open down pipe to a 5.5 in burp glass pack to a 2.5 in out side exit.. sooooo ilegal and every state but WA haha its gunna soo loud haha
lol wow.
post up a vid when you get it on
youll prob have to stand 40 yards back to get decent quality sound from the cameras mic since it will be outrageously loud haha
well, I got pulled over for the tinted lights... there were 2 cops, and they were bored.
One of the two cops was really car savvy... he asked if it was a stock exhaust, to which I replied "Yes". then he proceeded to ask me where my Catalytic converter was ... after a moment of silence I knew I couldnt play dumb with this cop, so I told him it was removed.
My car was off before the cops even got out of their cars... so IDK why he decided to look for the catalytic converter - just got a douche bag cop. btw, he knew what my wideband was and my turbo timer... dude wasnt born yesterday, he knew cars. they were both friendly, but in the end I got fooked!
