Default Phoenix record heat???

you guys are expecting 114 degrees...whats the heat index with that?

I dont know what the heat index is, what i do know is that if you hang out in the sun too long you come out lookin like bacon.

I have an infrared thermometer, I pointed it the paint on my car yesterday and it said 187 deg!!!

we hit 122degrees just the other day if that gives you an idea of how hot it is here

oh gawd how do cars survive there geez....im in FL when you factor humidity , head index and actual temp.....90 degrees feels like 105-107 at times cant imagine 122

A few years ago @ my part-time job (cook) the ac broke and it was 131 degrees on the line...Its fucking hot

It was 129 the other day in Death Valley.... here in socal it was 110 this past Sunday

Last week it was 105 w/ 94% humidity in CT...that sucked

i guess i wont be bitchin when we finally see 100 degrees here...if we get there

hasnt been 100 here in a couple of summers...thats not including heat index

meanwhile we are down here in the 70-80s with 80-90% humidity which feels pretty close to 100+

I think the heat index here is actually lower than the actual temp.

Dan, when it's 115, with a humidity of 8%, you can go in the shade and it feels cool. LOL

Dan,

I was in Phoenix a few weeks ago when you started this thread, and yes, it was freakin' hot.

Agree with Pit Viper, though. Standing in the shade makes a huge difference.

Got back to FL and 85 felt really comfortable!
