Originally posted by funks btw, for out of state peeps - invoice should be 160$ cheaper for you guys as i'm from CALI (look at the 160$ california ppo charge thing).
Funny.. I'm from the bay area... and I have a $210 "California PPA/EBPF" charge on the order sheet.... Maybe is regional??
Well.. I didn't need your papers.... My dealer offered me $100 over invoice, so that came out to 20,699.00. I thought it was a fair deal, and I didn't even need to bargain... They made the first offer, and I accepted it... '04 Silver with Sunroof....

Mighta been the same one I looked at. What dealership did you go to and what was the out the door price after tax, title, and license?

This was autowest Dodge in Fremont... I bought two neons there in the past three years.... Anyhow.. the price with sunroof was 20,699.00 and an estimated out-the-door-price with current registration fees would be $22,640.38. I hope that registration fees in California don't triple by the time I get the car... I heard they will, though, in a few months....

that's a good deal, even better.. nevertheless, this stuff should help out other people wanting to buy an SRT-4.. Paying MSRP ain't cool.
I'm only paying 200$ over invoice, and to me - that's a cool deal already the extra 100$ ain't no biggie as the dealership had lifetime oil changes.

Yup! It's certainly possible to get an SRT for a few hundred ($100 in my case) over invoice without much of a hassle.
I've already pm'd dakotart1 for tracking! I'm so excited now... Been waiting sooo long....

I'm sure you'll get it soon.. Mine was kinda weird, I put the order on Saturday and the next business day, it was already on "D" status and had a VIN (per the print out snail mailed to me).. Weird.. I know some peeps have been waiting quite a while to get their car even in D status (or get a VIN)..
No shit? I live in Castro Valley. One of those sales guys at Autowest told me earlier this morning that they had no 2004 SRT-4's yet. Congrats man. That sounds like a pretty good price.
I found a silver 2004 at Hartzeim in San Jose and took a test drive tonight. They wanted $25k out the door. Needless to say I didn't stay long. Can you PM me some info on the salesman you dealt with? Maybe he'll give me the same price on another one (if he can find one) if I mention your name.

I think you've mistaken... I placed an order... There was none in stock... If you are able to wait, this is better... because it will give you time to save up more money, and you know the car won't be used as a test-drive slave for weeks....
Anyhow, if you're still interested, I'll send you the info.....
