Since last night at Firebird was a bust (at least for actually racing) Anyone interested in meeting up in a few weeks at Firebird for SCO night on Nov 8th? It should be cooler ( ) but the traction will likely be worse.
I was planning on having my Drag-Car finished by then, but I don't think that is going to happen, unless I rush it, which I don't want to do. Bad things happen when you rush .
BTW, for those that don't know, my Drag-Car is an All-Motor '99 Neon R/T that's been stripped bare. NRGY Heads Race Prepped Head, 13.2ish:1 compression, Crane 24's, DTA EMS, and all of the goodies to support. Eventually goal is 10's, hoping for 11's for now though.
wudup "MCHAT" where at in Avondale do you live, I live in Avondale too, w00t!
Do you like four-wheeling? i got a 1980 International Scout II, 345ci bored 40 over (about 373ci now give or take), port and polished, blue printed and balenced, Flowmasters, but it's a big "RUST BUCKET", lol my and my brother's lil project for the years to come.
I have one Jeep and enough Jeep parts to make 2 more...
I have a '76 CJ-7 (mostly there) in peices that I bought with the intent to use its body on my current Jeep, but then the engine blew in the R/T and I started rebuilding it... which took all of the cash reserves I had for this Jeep project. So I'm looking to sell it and get it out of my Garage (hopefully soon) so I have room to build the R/T's engine. Link: Project CJ-7 For Sale
Then I have a Rock-Crawler project that has been on the back burner since all of this started. It started life as an 88 YJ. I have a D60 Front for it, still have to pick up a D60 Rear for it. Once the frame, body and suspension have been worked out on it, then I'll transfer the engine and tranny from my existing Jeep to it. It looks like I won't be back on that project until the beginning of next year though.
Heh, I got a 94 4 Runner with a leaky rear axle, does that count? I had a 80 CJ-5, but I had to sell it when I joined the Air Force, I try not to think about it too much. As for Friday, I dunno, I am right up the road, but Firebird is just so evil. . . .

I'm still planning on going Next Saturday. Hopefully my MM Inserts are here before then...
I've got to figure out how to get my 60' under 2.2 on stock tires. If I can drop .2 off my 60' and cut a low 2.0x 60' then I should be able to get pretty close to 13.7's...
So whats up.. SCO nite going to be an OCEAN of cars again?! SIR is done for 8 weeks.. I feel a surge of cars driving to firebird on the 8th from Tucson.. hahaha
Considering it is "Race the Cops" night and there is a model search and a bunch of other crap, yeah...I imagine it is going to be packed. YOu can maybe get 5 runs in all night. lol

I'd like to see a law passed whereby each woman is rated, and their rating determines what clothes they can wear. So the nasties of the world would have to wear food shaped outfits or bear costumes, and the hottest of hot chicks would be told to wear belt sized mini-skirts and see through tank tops or something to that effect.
Race the Cops night?!?! WHOO HOO!! haha hopefully there won't be any 16 second police caprices like at SIR... a little more comp would be fun..
as for the model search? I think I could help the talent scouts out.. I'll just buy a shirt that says "STAFF" on the back and start luring young ladies to an empty trailer..
