Default Where to buy race gas in Knoxville?

Like the title says, where can I buy race gas in the Knoxville area? All of the gas stations that sell race gas (clinton hwy by wal mart , gallaher view rd) sell the leaded gas. There used to be a gas station on the west end of Morristown that sold unleaded race gas a long time ago but i'm sure that has changed. I contacted VP racing fuels about buying a 5 gallon pail but it was going to be around $75 or so, with $50 going to freight. Knoxville Dragway sells the leaded race gas also (they open in March btw ) and i'm sure Bristol sells the good stuff but i'm not driving to Bristol for gas.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Don

UNFORTUNATELY, bristol dragway stopped selling unleaded fuel last year...
they said there wasn't enough demand

I have no clue wether it is unleaded or not but try " goddards Performance " on john seveir hwy . I know they got 110 or 117 , i used to put 117 back in the neon last year . Ran damn good . Give them a call.

I haven't been able to find any unleaded, and I have looked... I have been buying 110 leaded at the Pilot by Walmart and Sam's Club. It is "the good stuff"

You've been buying leaded for your SRT? I thought the OBDII would just about shut things down if you did that.

I called Goddard and all they carry is the leaded stuff.

The search continues.

Default Race gas

The good news is that I found it....The bad news is that it is in Morristown. Turns out this is the same BP station I used 15 years ago. It is on 11e, on the west end, on the right, just past manley church and krystal. The station is owned by Coffman oil. I called and confirmed they DO sell it, but as of yet I have not been able to find a phone number for the station itself to get a price/gal. I'm figuring upper $5/gal. I may go through mo-town on the way to bristol for the dyno next month.

Don

btw..it is true 100 octane
