2008 NATS Information Thread:
2008 Srt nationals. Its a go...

SRT Nationals is slowly dwindling and I would hate for people less than 3 hours away to miss out on all the fun. As of now, I know that 4 of us are going for sure. I would really like at least 10 "Upstaters" to at least show up for one event. So, let's expand this list of people going, and figure out a way to all roll there together. Also, if anyone has already booked hotel spots, let us know. I'm most likely getting one Friday and Saturday.

Last, there are still 2 spots in the road course available if anyone wants to give that a shot. Better hurry and take them, because if I can make a couple bucks I'm going to nab a spot.

I know I'm going to Commerce for the drag part, but haven't decided about the others yet.

You guys hold up on the hotel stuff. I'm going to compile a list of hotels in the area around the Road Course, and the ATL.

What im thinking is we all meet up on Friday at Commerce, Leave commerce at approx 10:30... drive down to Little Talladega (probably a 2 to 3 hour drive), Crash at the hotel there. Get up at 7:30 Saturday and go to the track.

Its nice to see people wanting to caravan though...

Let me know about the hotels.. I'm going to obviously need one and would be cool if we're all parked together..

Wife needs to do shopping as well so would be good if it was closeish to malls

I added a list of hotels near the Road Course to the first post of the main page. I'll add another list of hotels near AMS later tonight.

The Friday Drags in commerce, are very close to a strip of outlet malls....That is how I'm conning the Mrs to going to watch the drag racing. I'll be showing up at commerce early so she can browse the outlet malls, then it's over to the drag races.
