i'll see what state troopers are working that weekend prolly 2 weeks ahead of time...but theres so many slow people up there it really won't matter how fast u think u can go...ur stuck unless it's a weekday. once you get to NC, theres more options on better roads that allow you to raise the speed a little bit

Our Boosted Mopar club went up several years ago and had a great time. We had some old Shelby Dodges and my Srt-4 Stage 1 along with a Stage3. It was alot of fun and the Tn. Cops were stationed all over the place on the Tenn side but didn't bother us too much. The short NC part had an 55 MPH limit which was hard to maintain so it was pedal to the medal.
There were hundreds of S2000 Honda's there and it was fun losing them out of the turns and short straight aways. One of them went over the side the day before.
I hope I get to make it this time, it was a great day and you need to live close or find a place to stay if you more than a couple hundred miles.
The truck driver was a novice and problably got the snot beat out of him on the other side of the mountain!

I'll be ther and bring some Non-SRT friends. Hard to get the North Alabama SRT Guys to do anything. But by that time I should have 3-4 trips to the dragon under my belt in 09' we go like 10 times a year. And some of the other roads are just as much fun if not more fun than the dragon itself. See you guys there.
