Next Alabama SRT meet - SRT Forums

Just throwing this out to see when everyone wants to have another SRT meet. We should plan it so that it is the same weekend as some track event so that it will give us all something to do for a couple of hours. We could meet before the event and eat, shoot the shit for a while and then head out to the event whichever that may be. There are several things going on at MMP in these next two months so we have a few choices as to what we can plan it around. Any suggestions from anyone on where you'd like to have the meet?

There is an Import Showdown at MMP in April I think. That would be a good time.

I believe if your talking about the same import show/event, its on March 26-27. Its going to be held by this group http://www.racingscenemag.com/

I'm in or should be unless I go out of town on that weekend. That's Spring Break for me. I really want to go to a track!!!

There are plenty of times and events going on this spring. I'm sure you can make it to a few events. It's going to be a very active year for me.

Hack I forgot to thank you for all the info you sent me about the projectors/HIDs. So, thanks! I'm going to hold off on it for right now. I guess go fast mods and looks come first (MBC, new exhaust, and CDB wing if it looks good). Then I'll worry about driving at night and being safe.

No problem Speedooo, just wanted to give you the info you needed to hear. I took the HID out of my SRT for now until I can retro in my projectors. The output straight up sucked on the ground. I had only one little area in on the ground that lit up worth anything lol. Plus I was getting flashed because of the glare so i just toook them out until i can find time to retro my stuff in the new aftermarket housings.

Butr on this meet, you guys want to plan on next month at that import competition thing they are holding in march?

I know my track record for saying I will be at events has not been the best but I will be there in Montgomery.

The event is definatly still on @ MMP and I'd like for us to have another SRT meet once again. Our AL/Birmingham turnout wasn't too shabby this past meet so hopefully everyone will make it out again. If you all want to have a meet/cruise down to the event at MMP, then please post up so we can organize some sort of meeting spot/eating/drinking/etc lol.

Here is the flyer. Should be alot of FAST 7-9 second 1/4 mile cars racing too by what the guys hosting the event has been saying. Lots of rotary action as wel. lIt looks promising for a good time none the less!!
