BTW Terry, if you need anything from AGP remember they are a rock's throw from where I live. I can just waltz over there and pickup whatever you need and ship it back to ya.

Thanks James, I was able to find the bolts at the Omni fasteners place.. So the exhaust manifold is on good and tight now. Just need to get the rest of the engine back together..
head is back on.. Cams are in.. Just trying to get the timing done and it's off, so i need to do this again Exhaust cam moved too far.
Hey guys I got a question... I have the agp uhp/lhp with the turbo xs flange. I have a rfl bov atm. When I installed them now when I driving and let off the gas and the car is still in gear I get a whistle that sounds like its comming from the bov??? I added another washer to the bov to make 3 washers total and it still whistles... Im stumped it sounds horrible like Im riding bad brakes all the time lol. Can that type of bov malfunction after a certain amount of time? Or is the noise coming from somewhere else.. Drivers side when off the trottle, only while in gear after the bov blows off...
:P I love Borat... i thought it was awesome. So four washers is ok. I always thought for some reasome the bov would be too tight and not open but ill try another one. Thanks for the insight.
make sure you get the timing right....oh btw you did make sure to tighten the head bolts properly?
I think it's right.. I have the intake about a half a tooth above the exhaust after the timing belt has been tightened.. And yes I followed the torque pattern diagram and followed it to a t.
I was wondering about the intake manifold though.. When I took it off it had a plastic "gasket" on there.. Then they sent me a "normal" gasket, what I did was used both.. I don't think this is going to be a problem as it seemed to seal nicely.
It's probably one of these? Hopefully the Boomba (thicker) one....
Yah that's exactly what it looks like.. It's REALLY think like the one on the right. Probably 1/4 of an inch at least. maybe 1/2..
Soooo.. I get everything on and I have issues of course.. Are there any tricks to get the crank pulley/sprocket on?? In the instructions that I read, he said to put it on and then tap it will a mallet to get it on.. Well I tapped the damn thing but I didn't think it had gone on far enough and sure enough when i tried to start the car it did start but the belt on the water pump slipped..
UGH.. I will NEVER take something like this on again.. Next time she's going to a shop. I've had absolutely no life for two weeks trying to get this damn thing back together.. what a pain in the ass to say the least.
