Yeah I ended up at 21 psi. I got it tuned at 22psi but 15 degrees of knock made me bump it down. Unfortunately I'm still getting 8 degrees of knock retard from 4000-5000rpm but I can't do much about it. Lowering the boost (18 psi) more didn't help any for some reason and running it more rich didn't either, so we left as is. Car pulls like a freight train now, and has absolutely no problem wasting all the rubber in second gear.
Yeah, the knock is most likely either fake because the downpipe only has 2 bolts holding it on instead of 4, or its because of the arizona 91 octane. Most likely the latter. Problem will probably be solved when I get back to SC.
It isn't fake and it isn't going to go away. The problem is you can't tune our cars *right* with piggy backs. The piggyback is map clamp with a lot of adjustment points. When you run big ass injectors you have to tell the computer in the car that you are less boost then you really are. That leans it out BUT it also gives you timing at that boost that you just told it. If say you tell the car you are running 10psi when you are really running 20psi it will lean out the big injectors BUT it also gives you a safe amount of timing for 10psi, which is way too much for 20psi AKA why you get knock. If you could adjust the timing separately from the fuel with the piggyback it would be great BUT the SRT's don't allow it. E-manage on an import GREAT A+++, E-manage on a SRT

anyone know how to pull the srt motor out...i have to take it out before it goes to the body shop.. i know there is a how to but me and things like this do not get along at all!!!
good luck on fixing your car.I`ve only pulled 1 engine that made it back into a car.Take a few pics of everything,undo all wiring ,and hoses.Move the stand in ,hook it up and take the mounts off [4 I`m quessing],then take the trans and engine out together.

Yeah Sonic on woodruff is the "place" if you are <18 years old. Pretty much Greenville is not that big of a car kind of place. It's weird, here in Arizona there is a weekly car show with over 200+ cars from Model T's to the ugliest of imports, yet in Greenville, like 10 cars get together at Sonic and they are all teh ghey.

from what I hear every sunday at hobby lobby on woodruff rd some car people get together.I`ve went once and if was a younger crowd[teens],but there were about 20 or so stangs,4 Zo6`s,3 very nice supra turbos,9 SRT-4`s,and a mix of jap junk scattered in.
Well you know what they say about guys with big feet.
ON a side note.. I need opinions.. What's the best Mexican restaurant around here? South East of Greenville preferably..

I`d say Quadalahara in mauldin or La Fogota[was El jalisco] in mauldin are the best around IMO.Straight down laurens rd to mauldin.Turn right at walgreens and go 1000 ft for quad,or turn left at walgreens and go 1/2 mile for la fogota.
I know there are quite a few car guys around.. I'm sure there are people that get together and talk cars.. I don't care about age as long as people don't act stupid.. If you're young and act like an idiot then yes I don't want to be around you but there are plenty of people I knew in Calgary that were young and actually respected their cars and others.. Those are the type of people I'm interested in meeting.
