Default Need help from the SC crew...

I bought a ported TB from joshsbluesrt4 who later changed his name to joshsbluesrt04 claiming his screen name was deleted. Upon getting the TB I thought everything was great! Installed it and my car ran like COMPLETE CRAP! I gave it a little bit and then finally took it off and went back to stock and a good running car. Upon taking it off I looked at it closely and noted that there are gaps all around the plate letting air escape past the plate. I called him on it and he totally denied it so I contacted Josh @ Fully Built and Josh confirmed that the problem was the gaps. I forwarded that message to joshsbluesrt04 and he changed his story and it looked like I was going to get my $135 back. Now after waiting a month and a 1/2 he won't answer my PMs or contact me back. Does anyone know him? It says he lives in Laurens,Sc. I could really use the help!

Don't know him personally, but he is from this area and he wouldn't even respond to my PM's to buy his CF trunk. I will ask around a bit....maybe someone knows him.

do you have pictures of the problems? I think Josh is moving in to a new house and may not have much access to the internet right now. Moving sucks up fundage also. He doesn't seem to be a bad guy from my dealings with him...

that fucking sucks. I don't know what to say.

you maybe able to fix it yourself. it looks like the disc is sticking in the areas that aren't ported much. you maybe able to sand down the high spots to get the disc to touch in all areas? Also is there a set screw? It is hard to tell from the picture if it is fixable or not.

Unfortunately I can not fix it w/out spending over $100 to have FullyBuilt repair it. I sent it to him to see what he thought and he was like and I believe his exact words were, "what the H3!! did he port that with?!?" The if I took the high spots down to match the low spots the disc would have a gap all the way around itself because it was ported too far the first time.
