Default moving to south carolina gotta few questions

As it says I am moving to Aiken, SC in a couple weeks for a new job. I was wondering if anyone knows what all is involved in registering a car there. As in is there inspections, emissions etc.? Next does anyone know the local drag strip or one close?

Registering a car is pretty easy... just make sure you go once to find out what paperwork you specifically need and once to actually bring it all.

You have to pay the county raxes first (annual tax) and then pay the DMV a bi-annual registration fee. There is NO inspection or emissions in SC!

I think there is a pretty sweet drag strip around that area....

yeah I agree with bundrick........on the 1/4 mile track....I live in Nc 30 min from 3 different 1/4 tracks...I actually drove to that dragway about 3 hours away for a srt meet about 4 years ago...it was fun...but too far for a 1/4 mile track for me.....

but If I recall I think there is only 2 1/4 tracks in SC.....carolina dragway and darlington sc

anyway welcome to the CAROLINAS
