I knew when I posted that you were going to say that. I realize you are being helpful, but figure the less load on you the better. We appreciate you getting all that stuff!

To bad not everyone in NC thinks like that. Charlotte to Greenville is half the time than Charleston to Greenville and yet up to 5 of us are coming.

Edit: Also can we get some better directions? None of us going have a GPS so I need to know where 385 connects to 85. Also what time are we meeting at the gas station? Are we all planning on meeting there or whats the deal? Someone going to convoy us to Doug's house each time someone shows up?

We are planning on meeting at the BP at Exit 35 on I-85S @ 3PM!! I will have my cell on (864)363-7357 if someone gets lost and needs directions.

Here are just some basic directions from Charleston in general (thanks to mapquest). This is taking the Toll road, should be $1.50 total unless they have changed the prices recently. Saves you about 30 minutes. You should figure it out to where the directions begin.

1: Merge onto I-26 W via the ramp on the LEFT toward NORTH CHARLESTON/ COLUMIBA. 168.5 mi

2: Merge onto I-385 N via EXIT 51 on the LEFT toward LAURENS/ GREENVILLE. 29.7 mi

3: Take the I-185-TOLL N exit, EXIT 30, toward ATLANTA. 1.0 mi

4: Merge onto I-185 TOLL N/ SOUTHERN CONN (Portions toll). 11.5 mi

5: I-185 TOLL N/ SOUTHERN CONN becomes I-185 N.

6: Merge onto I-85 S via EXIT 14B toward ATLANTA. 6.7 mi

7: Take the SC-86 exit, EXIT 35, toward EASLEY/ PIEDMONT. 0.3 mi

Also like to add, the plan is pretty much we get everyone to meet at the BP. I will have directions to Doug's house and you will be sent that way. If people stroll in late they will have to call me up for directions. I can't think of any other way to do it without giving directions to Doug's front door via the forum.

Sounds good, we'll probably have about 5 of us leave from Clemson and ride together. I'm probably just gonna bring about 10 2 liters to drink. Little bit of everything.

The toll road only saves time when there is traffic (weekdays). We will send directions that do not involve tolls for our Columbia/Charleston friends.

Tolls are going to be $2.00 since each toll booth is $1.00 and there are two along the way if you're traveling the entire distance of I-185. There are two lanes that are normally open, one thats just a coin machine... the other lane to the far right is a person that takes cash or coin. If you have a lowered car on stiff suspension, I-185 has a few "ramps" as I call them where the road doesn't meet up very well with an overpass so they had to use more blacktop to build the road up to meet thus making kind of a ramp. lol
