The hottest show on television – Speed TV’s PINKS is coming to No Problem Raceway December 7 & 8, 2007. This event will feature a Title-for-Title TOP FUEL DRAGSTER DUEL, plus 250 of the best drag racers from across the country contending for thousands of dollars of purse money and prizes.
Racers must pre-register for the event, and the producers will accept only 128 cars in each of the Electronics and No-Electronics categories. Once the entries are filled, the producers may allow for 10 alternates in each category to be on standby in case a registered participant is unable to make the call for the first round of eliminations.
The racer registration fee is $60, and includes both Friday and Saturday tech cards if the entry is received by November 26, 2007. The 128-car field payouts will be $2,000 winner - $1,000 runner-up - $500 to each semifinalist. PINKS does not honor any gold cards or passes for these events.
The No Electronics category is limited to FULL-BODIED DOOR CARS ONLY. Street legal or racecars that can run the quarter-mile in 12.99 seconds or faster can enter this category. NHRA rules will be enforced, with prohibited devices being trans-brakes, delay boxes, and two-steps.
The Electronics category is open to all types of racing vehicles. Dragsters, roadsters, and door cars that can run the quarter-mile in 11.99 seconds or raster can enter this category. NHRA rules will be enforced, with down-track counting, GPS location, and stutter boxes being prohibited.
No Problem Raceway would like to introduce a first time PINKS motorcycle race. NPR will accept only 32 motorcycle entries with 2 alternates. All bikes that can run the quarter- mile in 11.99 seconds or faster can enter this category. This is an ALL-RUN category with electronics permitted. NHRA rules will be enforced. The 32-bike purse will be $500 winner - $250 runner-up - $100 to each of the semifinalists.
For the first time spectators will have the opportunity to purchase advance VIP covered reserved grandstand-seating packages. The package includes a Friday general admission pit pass ticket, a reserved seat and pit pass for the Saturday show, and a Saturday combo meal ticket from the concession stand. Due to the limited availability, anyone occupying a VIP seat must purchase a ticket, regardless of age.
