So do you not know what mods you have?? The stock turbo does spool up around 2700 rpm's, that is normal. With some pipe work, it could spool faster. And I would highly recommend a turbo timer.

I'm in Goldsboro.....as far as I know...the only way to get your turbo to spool faster is just what the other guy said....PIPE WORK....

Not sure about that moroso boost gauge/controller thing you're talkin about.

Catch can is recommended, but not required....

Turbo Timer is HIGHLY recommended, but is just a convenience so you don't have to sit and wait to shut the car off.

Actually, a turbo timer is not highly recommended. As a matter of fact, its not recommended at all. Spend your money on something useful that will make your car perform better.

Yes, your boost should drop some the closer it gets to redline.

Also know this. I have yet to see a good boost controller that will hold the adjusted PSI. Remember with these cars the boost is controlled by the PCM, so you can set a good spike boost, but after that the pcm is contolling it. Also, double check and make sure you have a good fuel pump. You dont want to start playing with your boost and get the car running to rich or to lean. You can drop the gas tank in all of 15 mins. And yea, I would HIGHLY recc a turbo timer. I have already screwed one turbo up by shutting the car off to soon, but like they said. It is more of a convience then a true "mod".
