Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself. My name is Rob, aka Network13, I am a recent transplant to Winston-Salem, NC from the Ft. Lauderdale area.
Lovin' the change so far but miss my SRT breverin from down south. Haven't seen many SRT-4's up here as of yet, where are yall hiding?
I helped start the FLSRTOC back home and miss the hell outta them clowns,(yall know who you are )
lets get a meet together up here, or tell me where theres one at, my Friday nights aint been the same without tower shops.

I do not know of any in the Winston area, but there are a few us about 2 hrs from you.. The best Diablo sport tuner is maybe 2 hrs from you, which is a very good thing..Turbo666 can help you with just about any aspect of your car!
as far NC we pretty spread out in the state there are alot in greensboro triad area,charlotte,raliegh,hickory,jacksonville,concor d and mooresville.we usually try and have a meet here in the charlotte area once or twice a year.what brought you all the way from FL.
I've Spent the last 11 years with my NC Native girlfriend down there, then recently lost my job so there was nothing else keeping us in FL. So now were spending some time with her family instead of those fruit cakes I called mine.
Besides, it's too damm expensive to live there anymore. For the same $750 a month I was spending to rent the lot for my crappy single wide trailer and pay for a warehouse to keep all my crap in, we now have a 2/1 brick n morter with full basement, formal dining room, 2 fireplaces, a home theater room, office, 2 car sized workshop on just over 3/4 an acre. Cant touch annything like this down in FL for under 2000 a month . And were looking at buying the place outright when our lease comes up.
Not to mention the people up here are friendly as hell! I'm not used to having neighbors (at least that spoke English ) Since weve been here weve already been invided to dinner, I was took fishin', and I've been invited to go on a pontoon boat this weekend. And it's so Foreign to me how people greet ya and wave n sh!t, Hold the door for ya, help ya pick stuff up if you drop something, usually all I'd get in FL is the finger or a dirty look cause I dropped my stuff in THERE WAY!
Now if I can only get used to these roads going no where fast I'll be all set. Makes no sense to me that I'll get on a road, drive for 20 minutes, and only be about 2 miles from where I started. WTF? Were yall on drugs when ya built these roads or what?
Edit: Forgor to mention, talked to a buddy back in Lauderdale today. He said it was 93 and 90% humidity! DON'T MISS THAT A BIT

hey network, a bunch of us are heading down to mooresville tomorrow. some of us will run some of us wont , but there will definitely be plenty of fellow owners to meet. mooresville is probably an hour or so from winston. maybe a little less.
