here is the thing...I can view my AFRs through the DTEC...so I am guessing that it was pointless for me to spend UEGO...or am I just completely confused right now...?

StixRedSRT is your car done at Ono's?
You plan on running it at the track this weekend?
We wont be ready until the 15th. They still run Midnight madness on Thursdays? If not then I will have to wait for that weekend.

from what i understand the afr's are pretty acurate. did you buy the wideband setup the comes with it(it doesnt read afr's without it)? if so then the uego was pointless to buy. it can read off other widebands but you have to buy the extra cable from turbo xs. as far as the parameters go, they are pretty spot on if you have everything wired right.

this is true.

The car is done at Ono's and the DTEC is installed. When the DTEC got installed somehow it completely fixed my TPS issues...so I guess I ordered the wiriing harness for no reason...I still have to put in the motor mounts and injectors and some kind of wideband (not to mention get my horrendous rattle fixed)...I will be running it for the first time on the 9th...hopefully I can put down some decent numbers without blowing something up...

if you got your turbo and DTEC from AGP then the DTEC should come with a very conservative base tune in it for your turbo and the 750cc injectors. if you bought the DTEC from anywhere else but AGP, then your best bet would be to zero out the fuel map and start from scratch. if you bought it from AGP and you are unsure whether or not it has a canned fuel map pre-loaded in it, zero it anyways. no sense in taking any chances with a map you are unsure of. you gotta tune it anyways, so might as well start from scratch. i doubt you'll blow anything up bro as long as you don't run too much boost on pump gas or lean it out too much. hope that helps homes.

ahh so are you able to datalog RPM's just fine without having a tach adapter? also, did you get the boost sensor add-on with the zeitronix or did you just use the stock MAP sensor as the boost reference for the datalogging? i'd like to know, because it would save me about 115 bucks for the boost sensor and like 80 for the tach adapter. i almost second guessed myself about needing a tach adapter. im glad i know for sure that i don't need one.

im in the process of buying the boost sensor. i think i used tach adapter for it since i already had one but ill get back to you on that one. i havent tried using the map for a boost source but ill be interested in trying that out though.
