hm i dont know but i got a question for you i want to do to recruiting school what do i need and do you like it
well, i personally haven't been a recruiter, but based on shane CONSTANTLY wanting to escape USAREC, and my friend's opinion of being in recruiting....
USAREC
might as well go Drill Sergeant. at least in that their isn't cutthroat shit going on with trying to make quotas. its pretty much cut and dry.
on that note, happy b-day to me!!

hm i dont know but i got a question for you i want to do to recruiting school what do i need and do you like it
Dont do it....
1) I work anywhere from 50-70 hours a week, 6 days a week.
2) You are constantly drowning. By that I mean every month there is a new quota, you may do shitty one month so you have to have a good next 2 months to make up for it. Well if you have a good month then they raise your mission cause they think they can rely on you. Our station kicks ass, i worked my ass off for our station to finish 16/17(we missed our mission by 1 which was a kick ass month with only 9 recruiters), another local station had 16 recruiters and went 8/16....you add that up, some work, some dont. But we all feel the extra weight of a lazy ass. Understand?
3) No one cares about you. You will no longer be in the Army, you have now just joined the circus. Trust me im not kidding when I say that, its run without any goal in mind. There is no plan in affect. No one cares about you(yes your now in a world where your boss e7, first sergeant e8, CSM e9 and a slew of e8's on the staff will continuessly under cut you to better/help them). Trust me, they dont care, its just how it is. I have had lazy e8's and so on but nothing like this.
4) Kiss your wife good bye. In the past 2 years, my station (the 10-15 people that have passed through just this small station) there has been 5 divorces and one recruiter was shot by his wife in the back. Literally in the back and now hes parralyzed. Say goodbye to it, no if ands or buts....in the past 3 years the O5, E9, E8, O3(our BLT and CLT) have all gone through divorces.
5) No career progression. Kiss schools good bye. you will make no progression in your field.
6) There are people with there sole purpose in the Army is to catch you(recruiter) trying to lie to an applicant. Do we do it, sometimes. Listen, someone with asthema, missing a lung, on some medication...no by all means walk your fucked up ass out of my office and dont comae back. These kids go up to meps and get diearha of the mouth. they start saying they cough weird when they run, i think i fractured my arm when i was 6 monthes old, my mom talks back to me....blah blah blah, and everyone of those means i have to track down more paper work. Does any of that stuff every affect your job in the army??? NO, it never will. I fucking hate MEPS. MEPE will not help you out. kids are stupid and when you flash a high beam in there face they will say do whatever. Which usually equals "my recruiter told me to do that." Then i come into work and some dude in a suit says " give me your lap top, give me you govt car, and give me your govt credit card and go home until we say other wise(kind of like refusing to jump when your in the bird, step to the side seat on your hands and dont touch your shit)....Just dont, these kids are fucking tarded.
7) Prepare to fail in life. I have never failed as a NCO(a slew of boards, top PT, the over all go to guy in the motor pool) but out here get used to failing. Its hard to get used to. Trust me.
On average you will meet 15 kids a week: 5 will fail the ASVAB, 3 will have a medical issue that i cant fix, 3 will have a legal problem that i cant fix....now you have 4 that have passed the ASVAB and are qualified, 2 cant join cause mom/dad....1 will deciede he just doesnt want to join........1, maybe
Please dont take this path, the one up side is decent money. thats it and nothing else. Its so not worth it...1 year in and I have contacted 2 different SF recruiters and a SF csm to get out of here.
I would spend 6 years no RR deployed rather than 3 years of this, and im 100% serious.

uhhhhh huh? 15's? He should be in the 13's if is built and spinning the 1320.
15's = un excuseable. Something else is going on with his car.

if by slow you mean it makes a 50 trim look slow, then yes
Be weary, if you put a drill packet in it will go through USAREC first...
They are the mafia, i have met guys that were finished with almost the entire pipe training for 18 series minus the small bs shit(end language and SERE) and they were pulled out of training to be recruiters...Trust me this is a organization you want to stay far far away from.
