Cool. I'll look it up.
Really? I just shine it at the gauge? (kidding) I would fly, but they gave me the choice. I chose to drive because my biological father lives in Texas. I haven't seen him since I was 9. I'll be 27 on January 9th. EDIT: I'd rather stay near I-10 because its along my way. Happy early birthday! |

Lol, Wilco.
I also travel with a 5 gallon gas can. I have 3, and I use my favorite of them for a long trip. It saved my ass on Nevada because I had no idea there was like a 150 mile highway with no gas stations. I remember I finally found civilization in a town called Searchlight. Great name for that place ![]() Side note: It's so hard to say goodbye to your wife and baby for things like this. We haven't been apart for a single night in 2 years. At least its not deployment. Yet. Since I got to my command I've been home maybe 25% of 4 years. Showed up, 5 days later 6 month deployment. Got home, stand down, exercises, 7 month deployment. Came home, yards for 6 months, sea trials, exercises, deployed 6 months. We just got home 2 weeks ago and we're going on another 6 month cruise in 4 weeks. Get some of that deployment schedule! Edit: Have a fun/safe journey though! I love driving cross country.

Dude no way, you're out of your mind. McRib is the TASTIEST THING ON THE MENU. I'll eat 3 of those things in one sitting (I'm 128 lbs, it's ok).

Damn good progress so far. I haven't though of multiplied cans of gas? I though about putting my 25 gallon tank in the trunk. And run another feed line to a Y before my filter with a single inline bosh. But that is alot of space I would lose

We get over 200 miles to a tank, so I think a small 5 gallon can is an acceptable suppliment. Heres a brain teaser though! I ran the car out of fuel today with E85. Filled it with gas and flashed my gas tune. It took 11.56 gallons and I was at FULL. Now, I ran it out of gasoline later today. Both times the car went lean, telling me the tank was bone dry. I put exactly 5 gallons in the tank. I was left with 1/4 tank. Do you see the oddness here? If 11.6 = full, then half should equal 5.75ish gallons. Why would 5 gallons be 1/4 tank? That should mean 20 gallons will fill the tank. Now I know that the tob and bottom, according to the gauge, are not equal because the lower half runs out sooner.

That's a lot of miles in one day!
You're right about not having to change diapers. Or feed the baby. All of that stuff. Enjoy your break from the norm

I flashed my gas tune on for the first time since running e85 yesterday I went wot I was 12.6. I filled up and I was at 10.8 gallons I know I can just add fuel but I'm going to drain it first on my way to la Thursday then add some 91 back in it. See if it changes. If i poor my five gallon can in at 1/4 of a tank it will go to just showing blue on top on the 3/4 mark. I was told from gas light on to drained is 2-3 gallons so that could be. I try to keep atleast.1/8 of tank in there. Do you have an inline filter after the pump? The though crossed my mind since e85 was ran the filter might be relaseing the rest of the e85 in the filter? Just a thought idk if that would happen?

LG-P999 using AutoGuide.C![]() Nick - those DEPENDS you use can help keep you active and avoid embarrassment. COSTCO probably has the best deal.
