Pacific Raceways - Where The Excitement Is Accelerating!
Schedule

The Battle of the Imports (BOTI) is the pioneer of sport compact drag racing. With over 17 years experience, the BOTI has created and developed classes used today by other organizations. The BOTI offers competitive classes for all levels of racers. From the weekend warrior to the mid-level sportsman to the all out professional, chances are there is a class for you.

Presently, there are 3 championship heads-up classes, 4 heads-up street classes and 3 sportsman classes which also includes the popular "fun-run" class.

The BOTI offers racers a chance to win additional money through the racer contingency program. Participating manufacturers of this program award successful racers that utilize a particular posted product while displaying their decal. The contingency program is optional and is not required to compete.

All racers must purchase a tech card and pass a basic safety inspection. Since the BOTI is held at both NHRA and IHRA member tracks, host track rules will prevail. If you run 9.99 or quicker, you will need a NHRA competition license and a medical certificate. An NHRA competition license (not NHRA membership) is acceptable at IHRA member tracks but is NOT reciprocated. If you are unsure whether your competition license will be accepted at a certain venue, please call our office ahead of time.

The BOTI encourages racers to decide which class they should compete in ahead of time. If you are unsure which class is right for you, please feel free to contact our office. Chassis certifications can also be arranged ahead of time at the owners expense. NHRA competition license and a medical certificate application forms are available here.

The Battle of the Imports offers a competitive carshow series with 100 awards available to imports, sport compacts, late model domestics, trucks and SUV's. Competitors can compete for HUGE 6-foot trophies, bragging rights and a chance to be featured in national magazines such as but not limited to: Super Street, Import Tuner, Modified, and others.

The Battle of the Imports was the first to nationally televise a car show. During the 2001 and 2002 season, carshow competitors from all over the country were featured on the Battle of the Imports show, "Mothers Polishes Import Auto Tour," which aired on Speedvision. During 2003, carshow competitors were again featured on the Battle of the Imports show, "Extreme Imports," which aired on TNN. This past year, carshow competitors were featured in multiple shows, "Street Tuner Challenge," which aired on Speed TV.

In addition to the drag racing and carshow action, the Battle of the Imports features other lifestyle segments at select venues such as the Finestmodels.com swimsuit competition, burn out contest, an interactive vendors midway, live performances, DJ battles, and much more.

Listed below are the current classes offered for 2008. If you have any questions concerning the show classes or special requests such as reserved car club parking, please feel free to email carshow@battleoftheimports.com.
