We recommend calling the hotels directly versus using the 1-800 number or booking online because the actual hotel knows the group better than the national number or online system.
Anybody that does not need a double room, please leave for the folks that do. They are all the same price and you actually have more room in the King vs. the Double Bed rooms. Also, many of the King rooms have a sofa with a pull-out bed in it.
There are many room variations at BOTH locations, ask them what is available for each night of stay for the number of people you are bringing.

We will have LX's from EVERY LX forum and some that have never been on the forums from across the nation all in Columbus, Ohio on Father's Day weekend. Don't get caught sitting at home wishing you had made plans to attend. If your favorite forum member or vendor is not on the guest list, spread the word, tell them to get registered and make plans to be in Columbus on June 14-15!!!
The Caravans The LX is a head-turner all by itself, imagine the scene you'll be making as you and your fellow LX owners roll down the highway and into Columbus 10... 20... 30 cars deep!!! Its much more fun to ride out to an event with a group of folks rather than make the trip alone. If you are organizing a caravan to the LX & Beyond Nationals, please let us know so we can add your caravan to the list.

Q: Do we pre-register for the event? A: We recommend that you pre-register to show everyone you will be there. Also, you will NOT be eligible for door prizes and drawings unless you are pre-registered.
Q: Can I participate in both the car show and the drag racing? A: It is not advised that you participate in the Drag Race and Car Show event. There is a good chance you may miss something due to event scheduling. In the event you choose to participate in Drag Race & Car Show events, there are NO REFUNDS in the event you miss something. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Q: How many judges will be judging the car show? A: At least 2 judges will be assigned to each class.
Q: How will the car show classes be setup/parked? A: Parking is on a first come, first serve basis.
TurboBuckeye "Anthony", myself and 18 others are going to have a meeting on Saturday 1-12-08 @ 1:00 PM at the Quaker Steak & Lube. We are moving forward with our plans on bringing to life a BIG Meet & Greet along with a Car Show, a Drag Race, a Manufacture Midway, plus some other *fun* things to do.
We have already picked out a name for the Event and our Company's name as well. I have some ideas for the Drag Race Portion of the Event, as it stands now, there will be 4 Classes of Eliminations. One will be a QUICK 16 on a qualified ladder, and I know there will be 3 Classes of Bracket Racing one being a V6 only Class. I am still working on the other two as to how I will break them down.
Even though they have the same 6.1L engine as the LX platform SRT, I don't believe they can keep up with LX's so I threw down the gauntlet to see if anybody was willing to accept the challenge.
The response was as follows: "I'm your Huckleberry."
I whole lot of Jeep SRT owners are stepping up from all over the place. Should be interesting to finally see the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 run side-by-side with the LX's.
First, I want to thank everyone for the TREMENDOUS feedback and excitement surrounding the event. Your enthusiasm and ideas is what's driving us to make this THE LX EVENT of the year, PLEASE KEEP THE IDEAS AND SUGGESTIONS COMING!!! Without each and every one of you the event could not happen.
I can't let all the cats out of the bag, but you don't want to miss out on this one. Even if its only for 1 of the 2 days you will definitely want to be in Columbus in June. As Chuck has mentioned we are positively turning the fire up on this event. Many vendors have committed to supporting the event (some I can not list due to not forum vendors) and we are very happy that they too are as excited as we are about the event. If you don't see your favorite vendor or forum member on the guest list, send them the link to this thread and tell them they need to get to Columbus in June.
Due to the support of the forum vendors and the HUGE response from the many, many members of various LX forums we are going to exceed the space allotment at Quaker Steak & Lube restaurant and officially announcing that we are going to hold BOTH days of the 2008 LX & Beyond Nationals at National Trail Raceway!!! This will give those of you planning to compete in the drag races more time on the track and those attending for the carshow and meet & greet more space to comfortably spread out.
No changes to the hotels, they are only about 30 minutes from the track and as mentioned before you should be pleased with the Polaris area and hotel accommodations. With the addition of the 2nd day at the track we need to tweak the schedule a bit but will be releasing the schedule and entry fees very soon. The gate at the track will very likely open at 8am on Saturday, June 14.
