tps or..??? - SRT Forums

okay i have new tps wire repair kit im putting in friday morning... but in the mean time.. my car is driving like shit and pissing me off!! it never idles right anymore.. it revs up to 2grand out of no where.. when i down shift it will not slow down it will continue to drive and just cruise.. when i am accelerating barely on the gas between 20 and 10 vac.. the car will randomly start blowing off...and everytime i get done driving for about 15 mins or longer when i go to park my car and let it cool down..it will idle horribly and stumble so bad that the car almost completely cuts off..and about 3 weeks ago i installed new duralast plugs and ngk iridium plugs..and left them pre-gapped to the .050 they came with...my car is COMPLETELY stock... i am thinking tps..hence the reason i bought a repair kit...but does anyone else have any thoughts?? oh and it has been gettin gworse the past 2 months..since last month it has progressivtly been getting worse

Mine did that when i first got my srt. When i put the tps rewire on it, no more issues of such came back.

yep i got my srt about 4 months ago and its the only problem ive run across and its sooo annoying!!!

check your vac lines.. I've have had a similar problem and it was a vac leak

finally!! my car is running absolutely perfect now.. put new wires in and a 180 stat.. took about an hour to do both and now my car is running better than ever.. and now my car isnt making weird noises when i accelerate.. before i posted a thread complaining about my k&n intake.. well i guess the noises were from my tps wires faulting and telling my car to slow down and speed back up causing my car to randomly blow off...alot! but now its perfect!
