Default New SRT-4 Owner!

I just got my SRT-4 today. I came across a local guy selling his wife's on eBay; both him and his wife had one. I didn't sell, so I messaged him and asked what he wanted. I got a 2004 silver with 33K on it. The price was a kickass $12,500!

There are two things wrong with it, but easily remedied. The tires had very little tread and the paint on the front bumper is flaking off. It's okay though, wheel and tires have already been ordered, haha! The bumper will cost $200-300 for a repaint. Still a good ass deal in the end. Everything else on it is in great shape. I just need to clean it up and do the basic refresh for a new car (New air filter, plugs & wires, tranny fluid, oil change, brake bleed, and for this car stuff like the catch can, t-bolt clamps, etc.)

I can't quite drive it yet. I need to get it registered and get the title released from Chrysler, but hopefully it's on the road in a week or so. Woohoo!

I'm looking to get 300WHP give or take a bit on the stock turbo. If I end up doing well enough financially a little down the road and have money to go big turbo, then I'm all over it.

First I'm going to do kind of a "tuneup" on it:
MSD wires
NGK plugs
TBolt clamps
PTP check valve
BWoody catch can
K&N drop-in
Plus Royal Purple tranny fluid, Mobil 1 oil & filter, and some good brake fluid
Do you recommend I change the fuel filter? Is it a PITA on this car?

I have wheel and tires on the way already. I bought Flik FTD titanium wheels (17x8" 35mm offset) with Falken FK452s from Edge Racing. Here's the wheels:

Performance mods:
3" side exit exhaust (Maybe Maxxfab or CTI)
3" O2 housing
PTP WGA
PTP motor mounts (As soon as they are more available)
A direct fit FMIC (PTP or AGP probably)
PTP FPR mod
Wideband (AEM maybe?)
Mapclamp

That should get me where I want to be with the stocker. I've been doing a lot of research. I'm so ready!

Oh, and I would like to get some suspension stuff done at some point too. Probably swaybars would be first on the list. I love the difference they made on my DSM. Coilovers would be nice too if I found the right price. Buy/sell section here I come!

Congrats on the new ride. Saw that car on ebay as well. Silver is the fastest color.

I've never seen anything like this before on an SRT. Did the last owner say it was from an accident or something?

almost looks like the owner replaced the front clip with a black one and had it painted at a bad paint shop. Wonder why it was replaced if in deed it was?

I remember seeing that SRT on e-bay my self, I tried to get my Gf to buy it but she said she'd only drive a red one. Congrats on the ride and welcome to the family

He said it was a lack of flex-agent in the paint. It doesn't appear the car was in an accident. If it was, then it was repaired really well.
