I am new to the SRT community but not new to cars. I just got rid of a Buschur built Lancer Evo and decided to put more of my focus towards my girlfriend's SRT-4. We both just re-located to Bethesda, MD and have had the SRT for a couple of years now.
Some background: We bought the car used, it is a 2003 and was heavily modded by its previous owner. As far as I can tell it has a Hahn Port Fueler, AEM Tru Boost, Hahn manifold connected to turbo, not sure what kind of turbo it is. TiAL BOV, intake and definitely a full exhaust, the thing is loud and drones a ton!
As you can see I am not very knowledgeable with this car; however I want to get a good starting path and therefore think I need to take it to someone who specializes in SRT-4's.
Would any of you know of a place I could take it in the DC area? Thanks in advance....

I guess the first question that comes to my my and I am guessing will come to most of the other member here is, what are your goals for the car? Once we have that there are many of us that can help you down the easiest path to achieve those goals. A pic of the car and a little more description (where you bought it at) and you may be able to locate the previous owner or at least someone who knew the previous owner here on the forums.
I bought the car in Boardman, OH from the Acura dealer on Route 224. I believe they picked the car up from an auction.
As it sits, it has around 50k on it.
My goals are:
to first diagnose if there are any issues I need to address with the car.
I want to also get it so I can get it inspected and passed in the state of MD.
Lastly, add or use what I already have in the car to make it a street monster and just an overall fun car to drive.
I will take some pics of the engine bay ASAP and get them up on the boards. Thanks for your help and response.
The only issue I have heard so far is the Hahn stuff. Is the car throwing any codes? (CEL on).I am not too familiar with Maryland inspection requirements but if they are anything like VA you will basically have to have a bone stock car to pass inspection. As far as the turbo, not knowing what turbo or engine mods it has will make it hard to tell what kind of power it can make on that setup. If you want a street monster that is still fun to drive I would say a 3076 setup or a stage 3 depending on exactly how much of a street monster you want. Some will say that neither of those builds make a "monster" but trust me, a 3076 can eat some shit on the highway and is still a good system for the track as well.
The car is not throwing any codes. In the two years that I have had it, it has never once thrown a code.
At this point I just really want to enjoy the car and get any known issues fixed. My girlfriend kind of got herself in a bit of a pickle. She owes 12k on it and it isn't worth that so I have come to the conclusion that we should just keep the car, fix it and enjoy it.
I guess I'm going to have to find a shop in the area so I can get parts installed/ taken off seeing that I no longer have the use of my garage in Ohio.
Sorry for the rant, I'm just trying to figure out the best way to go about getting everything going with the car.
These cars can be a lot of fun. I would try to find some locals around there (there are a lot here on the forums) that might be willing to help you look at the car and possibly help install/remove parts.
I'd love to meet up with fellow members and learn all that I can. Are members still meeting in the Rockville area? Or has everyone been thrown out lol
