I am in need of a stud puller. I'm changin' all my studs to the stronger ones and I'd like to do it with a puller. I know I can just hammer them out but I've seen a lot of warnings about ruining your bearings etc. If I was just changing one I would consider that method. But with 20 total, I'd like to do it the "right" way. So...if ya have one ya'd let me borrow just drop me a line. I have checked all the local stores and non of them have them to borrow OR rent. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
what kinda stronger studs are yo using........the arp studs require a press to instell the studs......and last time i check they were the on ly better studs out there.........plus the back arp studs you have to drill the holes in the hub themselves out.....there too small of holes

sorry guys but the car is for sale....all out first gen is in the works
^^^You're kidding right? Man, I don't have that kind of mechanical experience. They are the ARP's and researching did not show that kind of install work. I mean, I did not know there was any drilling of hubs involved. I knew I had to work to get them in but that's a bit more then I wanted to encounter. Well anyone want to buy some studs? Just kidding.

Apparently that is all you have to do to make that claim.

yeah arp studs are a pain in the ass....you will have to either take it apart and take them somewhere or take the car some where........the rear hubs have to be drilled out because they are smaller holes than needed
Also when installing them we put them in and used a impact gun and a lug nut on the stud partially pushed through to pull the studs through tightly and it worked fine for me

Thanks, I did read that somewhere else. I also read to put them in the freezer before installation. But I still need a "safe" way to get them out.

Well I'll see how that goes. I contacted RacingBrkes about the ARP's and asked them about the fit issue and they insist the studs are the same size as stock. If nec I may ONLY have to file out the hole a bit. We'll see.
I actually just bought their extended length studs not the arp ones... good luck to you though man... yea I did wheels bearings at the same time so we just banged them out.. I don't know I'm sure you can fine some more info on here
