Hey guys,
I have a 1990 civic hatch for sale as the title states, the odometer reads 170,482. I'm going to give you the run down of the car and it's condition.

I work at a shop in MD and recently purchased the car from a customer that brought it in. It was brought in because the car was burning coolant. We diagnosed the problem as a blown headgasket, and started tearing the car down and pulling the head off. Well, the customer called back and said they did not want the work done, but she would offer to sell it to one of the techs. if they wanted it..so i bought the car because i already did the work, knew what the problem was, and knew what it needed to get it running again. However, i just have to much going on right now to finish this car..it simply needs a HEAD GASKET, and TIMING BELT..that's it, and it's back on the road. SO, i am offering it for sale for $700 obo which i feel is completely fair because the body is clean, and all in all the car is in good shape.

So once again, you will need..

1) Head Gasket
2) Timing belt

and your back on the road. I Have a CLEAN TITLE in-hand ready to go from the previous owner of the car, there are no leins or anything of anykind on the title.

I may be interested, but how much to have you go ahead and finish the job then buy it seeing as to how it is already apart and you know exactly what it needs.

If i put it back together and get it running i would more than likely keep it...that is why im offering it this way, because i don't have time right now to finish it. But if i were to get rid of it after i found the time to get it running myself, i would want atleast $1,000.

I guess what I am saying is you work at a shop right. How much to have your shop finish it and then get the car.

Yes i work at a shop...the shop will not be finishing it. I am a tech myself and I own the car, so if anyone is finishing it before it is sold, that would be myself. Unless someone buys the car and finishes it themselves. I have already listed what the problem was and what is needed to get the car running, and i also stated that i do not have time right now to fix the car..so it is offered as it sits.
