Default HRC's First CSRT-4

Just thought I'd let everyone know the NSRT-4 is no longer. I traded that bad boy in and picked up a 2008 CSRT-4 in Inferno Red. Only has 160 miles on it so far so have to wait to break it in to see what it can really do. Hopefully if the rain stops I'll be able to come out to Bass Pro tonight. If not I'll definitely have it out there next Saturday night. Later.

Is the o2 housing and downpipe one piece? I see a lot of vendors selling them together.

kinda, the O2 housing is where the pre cat is, which is the Main restriction, it's the huge uggly thing that looks like a 6 year old welded together. The down pipe is mated to the O2 housing by a spring tension conection, then the cat then a slip fitting to the mid pipe.

Most vendors just turned it all into 1 piece because it's easier then having to dick with adaptors to the spring tensiond conector between the 2.

Info below is from this thread I made along time ago

O2 housing that hooks right to the turbo (see the huge restriction!)...

then the down pipe (note the funny conector)...

Then you'll see why it's cheaper for vendors to make 1 piece then try to make/buy flanges to mate 1 of 2 seperate pieces to the stock piece.

the stock exhaust with very restrictive muffler... Of which you can just put in a simple delete...
