well... just got off of the phone today with insurance and it looks like they may not fix my car because they said that it "looks like rock chips from the drag radials that are on the car..." drag radials?!?! i'm on stock rims and tires!!! but thank god the guy at the body shop said he would fix it because he guarantees he's work. i'll have the car back this weekend, but when my new headlight comes in, i'm takin back to the body shop and they are gonna fix it.... looks like i'll be drivin another rental car for about a week.... oh btw... for those of you that i talked to on the phone... thanks for the help, but the body shop proved the guy wrong.... we'll see what happens next...
I have the same kinda chips in the paint and I have never ran DR'S plus if I did the chips should be on the front not the back like the chips I have
I have worked in an autobody/paint shop
The chips are from not prepairing the surface properly before painting.
Dodge also has a problem with the paint they use from the factory.
The paint they use is slightly better than rattle can paint.
I have fisheye's in my paint from the factory I brought this to DCX'S attention and they started pointing out my modd's to the engine and how they weren't responsible B/C I had modded the car/engine bay when does the engine have anything to do with the paint unless I am going at the SPEED OF LIGHT then I might see thier arguement
DCX SUCKS IMHO
FUCK DCX
I am gonna do a custom paint job B/C DCX sux at painting
THEY HAVE FUCKED ME ON MY FACTORY PAINT SO FUCK THEM
if you get custom paint will you promise to clean your fucking rims for god's sake?
