HRC invitation - SRT Forums

NC crews are having a get together and trying to make it as big as possible for pics and Drag racing. If any of the HRC can make it and wants to, we'd love to have you. Dec 10th in Jacksonville, NC. Can't lie, it's a haul. About a 4 hour trip from Norfolk Naval Station. But if anyone would like to come check our the thread, here it is

Looks like a small gathering, I know, but most of the guys who are coming are posting on the Raleigh thread in the same area. Really hope some of y'all can make it out. I need some serious help on my 60ft times and I know a lot of you guys are regular track rats up in Richmond now. Hope to see y'all there...try to keep this thread alive if you're interested.

Yeah, the town isn't that special, by any means. Did you get to check out the track while you were there? Some of the guys are saying good things about the track, what did you think?

Yeah, it's a 1/4, but I think James and a few of the others guys could prolly hang with most of the cars. I don't know if it's muscle there or not, but when I went to Rockingham dragway last weekend most of the crowd was rice. Seeing as how Jacksonville has a military base there, I wouldn't be surprised if it was more rice than muscle. And the SRT-4 seems MUCH less comon down here, but the people that DO have them, seem to do a lot to them.

Sounds like I'll be getting stomped all day then, lol. I'm still down though, I wanna see what I can run without fuel cut, and hopefully get my launch down better.

I hope so. I haven't gotten to see you run yet or even HEAR it since you tuned it. They changed the schedul and made me work that day now

I'm gonna either switch with one of the other tech's or call in sick

Last bump before the meet. Anyone want to come? I'll be there and i'm hoping to break into the 12's, but we'll see. Filling my tranny mount tomorrow and I should be ready to roll. The place is called coastal planes dragway in Jacksonville, NC. Last bump for interest.

sorry dave not going to be able to make it. onve again it is winter and the car is down. there is something wrong with it but have not had the time to check and work on it. been busy doing crap for everyone else to work on my car.
