code p1188???? help again

hey i just installed my agp wga and i got the code p 1188 does anyone know what that is and how to fix it?

well your wga is pulling boost too fast. make it adjustment shaft slightly longer, then remove the red line attached just below tb and plug & zip strip. now go test w/o over riving and you'll probably eliminate the code.....................also check the sparkplugs for backing off. if loose remove, and add anti-seize. take care, and be safe. jac

so you want me to take the red line out and cap it?? or plug it somewhere??

if you are stage 0 he is saying to take the red line out of the uppipe and cap it. also cap the little bung on the uppipe too. that will stop you from getting an overboost code. don't go above 16 psi though. you will hit fuel cut on the stock pcm

I had a AGP WGA and I would get the p1188 code over and over but my car would not boost over 2 or 3 psi. So what does that mean.

i think it means ur boost controller isnt set up right i had the same problem wen i tighten my mbc to much

If u take off the red or white line the p1188 code will still go on. To stop the p1188 code get urself a stage 1 or watever a stagekit u want. Your over boosting with the agp wastegate. I took off my redline and cap my white line and the same code kept going on. When i got my stage1 it stop

when i had stock turbo i was running 19 spike and 16 to redline. this was on stock PCM and i had no problem at all. all i did was cap the red line and POOF no more overboost code.

what year do you have? i have done this mod on alot of srt's but i have not got a chance to try it on an 05 yet
