bov decision pleease help - SRT Forums

okay so i want to mod my srt now since its bone stock.. im only looking to get around 300 to 350hp and dont want to upgrade my turbo.least not for a long time, i want either hks bov or the mopar.. i know the hks will hold boost better, but i dont plan on boosting over like 17psi on the stock turbo. (that a safe number for stock turbo?) and i really love the hks bov but dont want to spend $500 on a a bov and upper and lower hard pipes but i know those both need to be replace because the stock rubber ones suck and leak... ive been looking everywehre for a good deal on combos of hard pipes and hks bov and i think jmbperformance.com is a good deal and they allow me to have bov flange turned down due to stock airbox... does anybody have jmb pipes?? and if so how are they? and when it asks for round intercooler inlet it should be "yes" correct? i have stock fmic.. but intend to upgrade to a bigger fmic most likely bwoody for like $400....any suggestions or help would be much appreciated!!!

350hp will never happen on the stock turbo, jmb is good stuff and the bwoody intercooler sells for 210 shipped on ebay

true... im only lookin for like 300 hp though im not worried about racing and taking it to the track every weekend.. ijust want to make it a little quicker and sound and look sick... only mods ima really do are borla/mopar exhaust with maxxfab catless dp stage 1 or stage 2 with a big fmic agp wastegate a boost controller i think i am gonna go with jmb combo with hks bov..and a new charge pipe.. coilovers or springs! id like to slam it.. but i dont wanna spend the money on coilovers

only way id be a fmic off ebay is if its a name brand one.. i dont trust any off brand..if you buy cheap..you get cheap.. and its always been that way for me lol.. and im afraid an off brand would heat soak!!

most of the vendors buy them off ebay and sale them on here lol, ebay intercooles on ebay that are made for the srt4 are pretty good. just get a godspeed

yeah ive heard nothing but good from godspeed so i might go with one of those.. i just have a bitchy gf that wnats to move out and blah blah blah!! and all im worried about is just trying to spend\ money on my car and make it go vroom vrooom!!
